Enjoyed this old and interesting murder mystery read. The book was fast paced and difficult to keep up with all 10 characters (the writer did a good job of referencing their occupations which helped, but their stories were harder to remember). The writer does not directly reveal "who or whom done it", but you can look up multiple endings on the Internet or be creative on your own.

I had read this in elementary school with my whole class together and I was truly FASCINATED with the amazing plot and unique characters! All strangers were mysteriously invited to an island, in order to fulfill their various purposes upon arrival.

Continuous murders started to happen based on a poem, where everyone becomes a "suspect". It was very addicting, captivating, and suspenseful. However, the ending was very unexpected...

I would strongly recommend to read the book first, before watching the original black and white movie. That way, you can see the similarities and differences!

I thought it was hard to keep track of so many main characters

This was my first Christie novel and I can finally say I understand now why she is still so popular to this day. I loved every second of this book. The writing was succinct and it kept me guessing till the very end. I wanted to scream out "who did it!" as the story unfolded.

In this Christie classic, twelve strangers are lured to an isolated island mansion off the coast of Devon where a killer picks off the guests one by one. A quick and suspenseful read that is also a PBS Great American Read Top 100 Pick.

One of the very few books i finished within 3 days, and that ending i did not see coming.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the best mystery book I've read so far. The grip in the story gets tighten in every chapter and our mind races to out-think the author to put an end to the mystery. But, the author's way of unraveling everything slowly and steadily gives you a chill.

Pure genius. Without a spare word, Christie draws us into the drama unfolding on the island and we get to know each of the characters as they are picked off one by one. Could one of them be behind the murders? Why did I wait so long to read this mystery of mysteries?!

I read this book for the "A Book By Agatha Christie" part of my 2018 reading challenge. I enjoyed it and was definitely puzzled by the mystery, but it was lighter and shorter than I expected. I would have liked if it were a bit deeper and less fluffy.

Good, quick mystery read. A great "Who did it" mystery tale.
