I usually enjoy chick lit, but I found the first few chapters of this book quite upsetting. The heroine was initially quite reprehensible. A vacuous and thoroughly unpleasant slattern. However, the character soon morphs into a bright, amusing, loyal and hard-working young woman who finds herself on reality tv with a vicious Martha Stewart type character. It turns out that this novel is quite autobiographical and the author was indeed on reality tv (The Apprentice) with ....Martha Stewart! Frankel now has her on reality tv show. An easy read.

Very similar to Bethenny's personal story..the plot was ok and somewhat predictable...still an ok read.

It reminded me of what the show masterchef is like combined with what bethenny describes is her life.

This book seemed close to what life is like for Bethenny Frankel. I love her whit, but the book was a little too close to what she's mentioned about her family. A father that cared more about the horse races than raising his daughter, a mother who was never there for her, clubs and reality TV. It was pretty much Bethenny's life story with a little bit of fiction thrown in. I would consider this book average at best.
