I found the premise of this book to be very intriguing and the format of the book - told through flashback until the mystery is solved - greatly enhanced the suspense. Kathy Reichs even managed to sneak a critique of her profession into the story to enhance the relevence of the tale, which was kind of neat. Having said all that though, again her trademark style of writing was at times jumbled and confused. Many times I had to reread sections to figure out who was speaking and the plethora of characters referenced left me wondering just who everyone was. Not her best in the series.
